Final Fantasy 16: Needs of the Many Walkthrough

Needs of the Many is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16, located in The Hideaway. It first appears during the Main Quest named Righting Wrongs. As part of our Final Fantasy 16 guide, we're going to explain everything you need to know about Needs of the Many.

Needs of the Many: Walkthrough

Needs of the Many is begun by speaking to Alban in The Hideaway. He's worried about his friend Randal, who has gone to Lostwing to earn some money, but hasn't returned.

Fast travel to Lostwing, then enter the inn and speak to Quinten. He tells you where Randal is, to the south in Laubert's Pass. Head out and south towards the marker. Once you get there, speak to the man, who will tell you Randal is further down the road.

Continue down the path to find some enemies — defeat them.

Enemies Spoils:

• 1x Bone Necklace
• 2x Valley Madder
• 4x Wyrrite
• 24 EXP
• 44 Ability Points
• 252 gil

After the fight, locate the marker and find Randal. Return to Quinten in Lostwing and talk to him, ending the quest.

Objective Log

• Speak with Quinten in Lostwing
• Search for Randal in Laubert's Pass
• Slay the beastmen
• Inspect Randal's body
• Inform Quinten of Randal's fate
