Martha has been arrested by the provincial garrison — most likely for her dealings with Bearers — and taken west in the direction of Sorrowise. Clive and Jill rush to follow.

Dark Clouds Gather: Walkthrough

Dark Clouds Gather begins after speaking to Cole in The Gathering Storm. He explains that Martha has been arrested, and led away by soldiers.

After the cutscene is done, exit the inn and head out west. Use the elevator to go down, and follow the marker onscreen. On the way, a cutscene will play in which you find Martha. Afterwards, continue heading towards Glaidemond Abbey. On the path are small groups of enemies to dispatch, but they shouldn't cause you any grief.

Go inside the abbey and watch the cutscene. You'll be up against a group of soldiers.

Enemies Spoils:

Once the enemies are dealt with, the quest is done.

  • Slay the Black Shields
