Side Quest

Hortense is a busy woman, and when she's not seeing that the hideaway's shelves remain stocked, her days are spent hemming kirtles and mending britches. A long-delayed delivery of linen from the draper in Northreach, however, is preventing her from this important task and so she has asked Clive to collect the cloth in her stead the next time he is in northern Sanbreque.

Cut from the Cloth: Walkthrough

Cut from the Cloth begins when you speak to Hortense, Keeper of the Stores. She will ask you to retrieve some linen she's ordered.

Fast travel to Northreach, then speak to the Draper. Afterwards, you'll need to head to the marker, south of Northreach. Either fast travel to Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate or make your way there on foot.

Approach the caravan and speak to the Traveling Trader. You'll be put in a battle with someone named Killer.

Killer Spoils:

  • 10x Steelsilk
  • 1x Black Blood
  • 35 EXP
  • 60 Ability Points
  • 260 gil

After the fight, watch the cutscene, then fast travel back to The Hideaway. Speak to Hortense to end the quest.

Objective Log

  • Visit the draper in Northreach
  • Search the road for the missing caravan
  • Defeat "Killer"
  • Deliver the cloth to Hortense
