Side Quest

Hideaway ferryman Obolus estimates his skiff will not last another fortnight before the Blighted water of Bennumere eats straight through its hull and condemns it to the lakebed. Fortunately, he knows exactly what the boat needs to avoid this grim fate... and exactly where Clive can find it.

Caulk & Bawl: Walkthrough

Caulk & Bawl begins when you speak to Obolus the boatman. He'll ask you to retrieve some thistles which will help him maintain his boat.

Fast travel to Three Reeds. When you get there, head for the marked area, southwest of the Obelisk. When you get close, you'll need to defeat the group of Thorny Thistle enemies.

Thorny Thistles Spoils:

With the fight done, fast travel back to The Hideaway and speak to Obolus, concluding the quest.

Objective Log

  • Slay thorny thistles at Coeurltail Falls
  • Deliver the pitch to Obolus on the hideaway docks

  • 10x Renown
