On this page, we're going to explain how to complete Nokron, Eternal City, including the fight against the Mimic Tear, and how to find the Fingerslayer Blade.

Nokron, Eternal City Walkthrough: How to Find It

You won't be able to reach Nokron, Eternal City until after you've defeated Starscourge Radahn. Completing this key boss fight causes a star to crash into the Mistwood area in Limgrave, just south of the Mistwood Ruins. Head to the area for a giant cosmic chasm. Follow the pathway down and then jump on two floating islands with Torrent. Look to your left for a doorway you can double-jump to, which will take you to the outskirts of Nokron, Eternal City.

Once you've lost control of Torrent, head into the city ruins area and collect the Golden Rune [5] and Sophoric Grease from the corpses on the way down. Then navigate the rooftops to the north. If you backtrack a little once you reach the tumbled buildings, you can find a Rune Arc to the south.

Continue on north, up the building, and through the broken window on the left. Immediately inside, on the ledge you land on, are two corpses with a Furlcalling Finger Remedy and a Smithing Stone [5]. Drop down to the soldiers below, and collect the Ghost Glovewort [3] before interacting with the Site of Grace.

Outside of the Site of Grace, directly at the bottom of the stairs, is a gazebo where you'll be able to grab the Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [1] from a corpse. This area has many different Smithing Stones and Ghost Gloveworts, so take the time to explore properly and loot everything. If you head to the graveyard area, too, you'll be able to loot the Greatshield Soldier Ashes.

Once you're done, head down the stairs, and go right at the bottom of the staircase. You should see a mist gate in the distance, but before that there are a number of corpses you can loot for a Larval Tear, Ghost Glovewort [3], and a Golden Rune [7]. You can also grab another Rune Arc just before the boss fight. Then head through the mist and learn How to Beat Mimic Tear.

Interact with the Site of Grace after defeating the Mimic Tear boss, then take the bridge out. Along the way you'll encounter a Teardrop Scarab which can be killed for a Somber Smithing Stone [5]. You'll want to hug the left and take the exit deep into the bridge when it's available. Then follow the path west or to the left in order to reach another Site of Grace named Ancestral Woods.

Directly opposite you, to the south-west, jump across to the building and follow the path along until you can drop down to another building. Turn right then jump down to the corpse with the Rejuvenating Boluses. Grab the Rune Arc from the corpse on the stairs, and then facing the body go left and jump to the building to the north-west. Walk along the ledge in the northern direction for the Celestial Dew. Then return to the Rune Arc location and jump onto the dome-shaped roof, allowing you to reach the area with the Silver Tears that you'll need to kill. Be careful, because they will transform.

Beyond them, you can collect a Golden Rune [7] and three Silver Tear Husks. Follow the building's edge east until you reach a broken wall that acts as a bridge, and then cross it through the windows into a church-like temple. At the altar is a Black Whetblade, and beyond it is a room you can access with a Stonesword Key. Don't open it yet, instead jump through the third window on your right (if facing the Imp Statue) and jump through the window for the Nox Flowing Hammer.

Then drop down into the main room, being careful to avoid the giant ball. This is actually a Silver Tear, and you can kill it for a Larval Tear. Return to the Stonesword Key area and kill the Swordstress inside. Then open the chest for the Mimic Tear Summon Spirit. Head out of the temple's main door to the Night's Sacred Ground Site of Grace.

Nokron, Eternal City Walkthrough: Find the Fingerslayer Blade

You'll need the Fingerslayer Blade to further Ranni the Witch's quest, so push north-east up the main road from the Site of Grace, ensuring to loot the corpses as you go. You'll get a Celestial Dew and Golden Rune [7], among other things, so it's well worth your time. Be careful, though, because the very last Silver Tear will transform into a pretty powerful Troll. You can either choose to run past it or take it on head-on.
