Elden Ring: How to Help Kenneth Haight and Liberate Fort Haight Guide 1

On this page, we're going to explain how to complete Kenneth Haight's quest. We'll include a walkthrough of where to find Kenneth Haight, how to help him, and what you need to do to liberate Fort Haight.

How to Find Kenneth Haight

There's a good chance you'll stumble upon Kenneth Haight while you explore the Lands Between, but if you missed him, you'll find him atop a collapsed bridge just north of Mistwood Outskirts. You'll know it's the right character, because he'll call out to you to help him. Climb up the collapsed bridge and speak to you. He'll tell you that he needs help liberating Fort Haight, and insists you go immediately.

How to Liberate Fort Haight

Fort Haight is located southeast of the Mistwood Outskirts, slightly below the Minor Erdtree and Siofra River Well. Be careful on your approach, because it's well guarded by Godrick Knights and a Pumpkin Head. Defeat everyone outside and be sure to collect the Golden Seed from the tree outside before entering Fort Haight.

Once inside you'll have to deal with Rats and more Godrick Knights. Defeat all of the enemies downstairs and collect the Nomadic Cookbook [6] from the corpse in the room. Then head up the stairs and prepare for an even stronger Godrick Knight. Killing him will earn you the Ash of War: Bloody Slash. Make sure you kill the enemies operating the crossbows, and then head inside the only accessible turret and climb the ladder. At the top is a chest with the Dectus Medallion (Left) inside it. Collect this and check all of the enemies are killed.

Return to Kenneth Haight for Your Reward

Then return to Kenneth Haight at the same location you spoke to him earlier, atop the collapse bridge northeast of the Mistwood Outskirts. Speak to him and tell him all the enemies are defeated and he'll give you the Erdsteel Dagger for your troubles. If you continue talking to him you can choose to join his alliance if you like. Either way, this completes the quest. You can go back to Fort Haight later to speak more with Kenneth Haight if you choose.
