Magma Wyrm Makar: Boss Fight Strategy

Taking place in amongst some indoor ruins, this boss fight is against a dragon that can no longer fly. It's very slow-moving, and its primary attacks involve breathing fire and covering the arena with lava. Luckily enough, these are both very easy to avoid. Just don't step on the lava — simple, really.

Once again we're going to recommend you summon the NPC named Great Horned Tragoth to help you out with this encounter. He's an absolute tank with a ton of HP, and works as a great distraction for the boss. While he draws aggro, you can freely attack Magma Wyrm Makar as much as possible. Feel free to really get in there: this is a pretty simple boss fight to be honest.

The one thing you should look out for is when the boss is readying to slam the ground around it. This can kill you in one hit, ending the fight immediately. It doesn't do it often, though. Working together with the NPC, the boss can be staggered. This sets up a critical hit you can take in its right eye. Do so and you'll knock off loads of HP.

There's no real proper strategy to employ here since it's such a simple boss fight: let the NPC take aggro while you attack from behind or along the sides. Once it's killed, you'll be able to progress up the cliff some more.
