How to Build Safe Houses and Zip-Lines in Death Stranding PS4 Guide

How do you build safe houses and zip-lines in Death Stranding and Death Stranding Director's Cut? What does the PCC do in Death Stranding? One of the game's most important social features is based around building structures for both yourself and others to take advantage of. As part of our Death Stranding guide, here's how you place them in the world of Death Stranding.

How to Build Safe Houses and Zip-Lines in Death Stranding

In order to build safe houses and zip-lines, you're going to need a PCC level 2 in your inventory. Given the ability to make them roughly halfway through the game, you can craft them at any safe house or distribution centre by selecting "Fabricate Equipment". Once you have them on your person, head to any location that has Chiral Network coverage and hold right on the D-pad. This will allow you to select the PCC and equip it.

You can now toggle through to the likes of safe houses and zip-lines, and select which one you wish to build. It'll take roughly 15 seconds before it takes shape, but after that, it joins your game permanently ready to carry out its function. Safe houses allow you to access all the options of a distribution centre anywhere on the map, while zip-lines let you cover a lot of ground at speed once two pylons are connected to each other a certain distance apart.
