Loves: Ketchup, Cheese, Ranch Dressing

Description: This Bugsnak is much more aggressive than its forest cousin.

Time Active: All day

How to Catch: Just like the regular Bunger, it charges at anything covered in one of the sauces it likes. Use this to lure it near a Spuddy, which will ram it and make it dizzy. Then you can capture it in your net.

Cheepoof

Description: These things never land. If only there was a way to catch them mid-air.

Time Active: 6am to 4pm

How to Catch: Requires the Lunchpad. Set this up nearby a Cheepoof, then place your Snak Trap on top. Aim the trajectory, then shoot the trap so it meets the Bugsnak in mid-air. Activate it right as the two meet.

Crystal Sweetiefly

Description: It zips around fast enough to evade traps, but eventually sets down to rest.

Time Active: 4am to 4pm

How to Catch: You'll see these flying about, but they do settle down after a while. To catch a Crystal Sweetiefly, wait for it to take a nap. Set down the Lunchpad, and pop your Snak Trap on it. Aim at the Sweetiefly, then launch the trap and press R2 when it's close enough. If needed, use the Snak Grappler to retrieve the trap.

Green Peelbug

Loves: Chocolate

Description: It hides inside the crevices of the Scorched Gorge.

Time Active: All day

How to Catch: Find one of the telltale small holes, and send the Buggy Ball through. Meet it at the other end, and the Green Peelbug should emerge. Set up your Snak Trap and lure the Bugsnak over with chocolate.

Poptick

Loves: Cheese, Chocolate

Description: They are too small to catch in a trap, but maybe some heat will puff them up.

Time Active: All day

How to Catch: Popticks require being set on fire before you can catch them. Fortunately, they're usually near a Scorpenyo, which shoots out flaming peppers when agitated. Use the Sauce Slinger to cover a Poptick in Hot Sauce. The Scorpenyo will set it on fire, transforming it. In this new state, the Poptick can be captured by baiting it with chocolate or cheese into your Snak Trap.

Puffy Snakpod

Description: Hidden around the Scorched Gorge. Just a little bit spicy.

Time Active: All day

How to Catch: Snakpods are easy to catch. They don't move, so once you find one, just approach it and pick it up with Square. If you can't reach it, use the Snak Grappler to snag it.

Ribblepede

Loves: Hot Sauce

Description: It likes to hide and sit still. Maybe some sauce could get it to move.

Time Active: All day

How to Catch: Find a Ribblepede, and use the Sauce Slinger to throw out some hot sauce nearby. Set up your Snak Trap over it as well. When the Bugsnak wriggles within reach, activate the trap.

Scorpenyo

Loves: Cheese

Hates: Hot Sauce

Description: This snak lobs fiery peppers at anything that catches its attention.

How to Catch: There are two Scorpenyos, and one is much easier to catch. It's the one that's on the wall right above a pool of water. What you need to do is set up your Trip Shot so it crosses the creature's path. Be careful, it will shoot fire at your Trip Shot to destroy it, so this might take more than one go. However, once it's hit by the Trip Shot, the Scorpenyo will fall down and into the water, instantly putting its flames out, meaning it's ready to be caught in your net.

Shy Weenyworm

Loves: Cheese

Hates: Ketchup

Description: A lazy little worm, it's only motivated by its hatred of ketchup.

Time Active: All day

How to Catch: There are a couple of Shy Weenyworms behind a breakable wall. Get a Spuddy to ram down the wall, then go inside. Scan one of the worms to show its path, then use the Snak Trap to grab it. Use ketchup to attract it to your trap if necessary.

Spuddy

Hates: Preying Picantis

Fears: Spuddy

Description: It protects its territory by charging at intruders with its powerful jaws.

How to Catch: Requires the Trip Shot. Find a Spuddy, then set up a trip wire somewhere nearby. You can either lure it over with a sauce it likes, or you can get it to chase you. Either way, once it hits the trip wire, you can pick it up while it's dazed.

Sweet Fryder

Loves: Cheese, Ketchup, Ranch Dressing

Fears: Red Banopper

Description: Similar to Fryders, but sweeter.

How to Catch: There's a Sweet Fryder on a cliff that's impossible to get to. In order to snag this critter, use the Lunchpad to launch the Snak Trap across the gap.

White Cheepoof

Description: A rare Cheepoof that exclusively comes out at night.

Time Active: 6pm to 4am
