One of the PS4's biggest games brings the popular red and blue hero back to games with a bang. Insomniac's open world adventure features an insanely compelling mix of fluid web swinging, crunchy combat, and various collectibles and activities. It's all wrapped up in a surprisingly strong story that focuses on Peter Parker as much as his super-powered alter ego. The only thing that would make this game harder to put down would be if you had hands that could stick to walls.

God of War is a landmark adventure game. With excellent combat, jaw-dropping visuals, and a heartfelt story, it's one of the PS4's very best games and a must-buy. While parts of the classic God of War formula still reside within this reincarnation, it's overall a very different experience — a much better one, as far as we're concerned. And that seems crazy given that we've always loved Kratos and his violent escapades, but now he's got a beard and a big axe, and his supremely polished Nordic adventure is absolutely breathtaking from start to finish.
