Two Point Hospital (PS4)

Two Point Hospital puts the player in control of a series of run-down hospitals whose doctors are up against a plethora of wacky pandemics (for example, Jest Infection sees patients turning into clowns). A spiritual successor to the legendary Theme Hospital, this is a business management sim that is as funny as it is in-depth.

Curse of the Dead Gods (PS4)

Curse of the Dead Gods is a dungeon crawling roguelike game that unfortunately has been overshadowed by Hades, the undisputed king of the genre. That's no reason to overlook this game, though. Featuring multiple weapons to master, a risk/reward curse system, and many tricky challenges in the randomly generated levels, this is a cracking game that deserves more attention.

Tokyo Dark: Remembrance (PS4)

Taking on the role of Detective Itō Ayami as she searches for her missing partner, Tokyo Dark is a point and click adventure set in a seedy part of town. Plus, there’s also a mysterious mask and Itō’s mental state to worry about. It’s a brilliantly composed thriller, the perfect blend of player choice and mystery – a definite must play.

Olija (PS4)

We doubt too many of you have played Olija, a Devolver Digital title that seemed to pass everyone by. That's a shame, because it's a really enjoyable little action game. You wash up in a mysterious archipelago, and must explore your surroundings in order to try and save the rest of your crew — oh, and you have a magical harpoon used for combat and traversal. Slowly building up a small settlement and finding all the secrets the land has to offer, this is a short but interesting title that does a lot with a little.

Mutant Football League (PS4)

If any sports fans reading are fed up with Madden, FIFA and all the usual sports sims, try Mutant Football League. The game uses familiar EA-style controls, but changes out human players for exaggerated tyrant monsters, and it's a blast.
