Assassin's Creed Valhalla Tombs of the Fallen Guide

Where are the Tombs of the Fallen in Assassin's Creed Valhalla? Added to the game in update 1.4.0, the Tombs of the Fallen are new locations that Eivor can explore in search of treasure. In this Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide, we're going to detail where you can find each tomb, the rewards that you can expect, and hopefully kickstart Eivor's dungeon-delving career.

Note: As of Assassin's Creed Valhalla update 1.6.1, new Tombs of the Fallen have been added to the game. You can find locations for these new tombs below.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Tombs of the Fallen Locations

There are six tombs in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Tomb locations are not marked on your map — they only show up once you've actually discovered them.

To pinpoint a tomb's location, use your raven. If you're near enough to the tomb, a large, swirling blue light will appear at the entrance.

Manius's Sanctum

Location: Ravensthorpe, just south of the river.

To start Eivor's quest for treasure, you'll need to go and talk to a group of people near the river in Ravensthorpe. You can find them beyond the boat builder's building. This triggers a cutscene in which Eivor uses Synin to see the nearby tomb.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Tombs of the Fallen Rewards

Completing all four of the tombs added via Assassin's Creed Valhalla update 1.4.0 gets you a full set of armor. The Fallen Hero armor set is one of the best in the game, and it looks cool to boot.

Completing the three additional tombs added via Assassin's Creed Valhalla update 1.6.1 gets you three new weapons: Verica's Sickle, Togodomnus' Bearded Axe, and The Blazing Sword (you can read more about the latter in the artifacts section of this guide below).

In particular, Togodomnus' Bearded Axe is a great weapon to have, granting a straight boost to attack that increases dramatically when you're in a one-on-one fight.

Tombs of the Fallen Artifacts - What Are They For?

While exploring the Tombs of the Fallen, you may have come across unique quest items called artifacts.

Each of the tombs (apart from Manius's Sanctum) contain an artifact, meaning that there are five in total. All of the artifacts are found after you've reached the end of the tomb, and watched the tomb-specific cutscene. On your way out, through a shortcut that leads back to the start of the tomb, you'll hear ghostly whispers in an unknown language. When you hear these whispers, it means that an artifact is nearby.

Again, all of the artifacts are found as you traverse the shortcut back to the entrance, whether it's down a separate path, or simply lying on the ground halfway through. Once you hear the whispers, take a good look around and it shouldn't be too hard to find the artifact. The artifacts themselves look like very small glowing orbs.

Once you've got all five artifacts, bring them back to Manius's sanctuary. You'll get a cutscene as well as one final tomb to explore.

Reach the end of this final tomb and you'll unlock a new weapon: The Blazing Sword.

This is an immensely powerful weapon — arguably one of the best in all of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Its unique ability adds a projectile to your standard light attacks, significantly increasing your damage and range.
