Below you'll find an overview of the Main Mission called Underground Exploration - Depth 2. We'll provide a brief Walkthrough, an Objective Log, details of any Collectibles, and any additional information you might find useful.

Walkthrough

After exploring Depth 1, we're straight on into Depth 2. Pass through the blast doors and work your way through the tunnels, taking down enemy mechs as you go, until you come to an area with a left-hand turn. In this room will be a hole in the floor which you can drop down and find a panel to interact with that brings the power back on. Now you can return to the level above and open the blast doors ahead. In the next room, you'll need to take on Head Bringer / G5 Iguazu.

After beating them, make sure to use the Supply option on the right-hand side of the arena. Go through the next set of blast doors to come out into an open underground area with another mech you need to follow as it attacks you.

Another set of blast doors will shut on you, and you need to open them by restoring power. To do this, return to the open underground area you were just been and look down off the ledge until you spot some mech wreckages on fire. These are lightly telling you the way to go, so follow them down the cliff edge to the right until you find an open pipe at the very bottom.

Inside, take the Catapult up and destroy the drones on the way. Use the pipes to access the control room, then interact with the control panel in the back. Now you can take the lift up to the newly unlocked blast doors to continue moving forward. In the next room, you can Supply once more and then interact with another set of blast doors. In here, you must take down the Enforcer. For more information, refer to our How to Beat Enforcer guide. Beating it concludes the Mission.

  • Reach the end of Depth 2
  • Defeat G5 Iguazu
  • Reach the end of Depth 2
  • Destroy the autonomous defense weapon Enforcer

Combat Log #1: Defeat Head Bringer / G5 Iguazu when you automatically encounter them.

Combat Log #2 and #3: Both these Combat Logs are in the same room to the right of the blast doors that are shut on you when you're chasing the mech.

Parts Container #1: In the same room as Combat Log #2 and #3.

Parts Container #2: After working your way down the underground area to find a pipe, you'll use a Catapult. Right ahead of you will be this Parts Container.
