Below you'll find an overview of the Main Mission called Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship. We'll provide a brief Walkthrough, an Objective Log, details of any Collectibles, and any additional information you might find useful.

Walkthrough

In this Mission, you'll need to take down a huge mining ship all by yourself. The first task, though, is even getting near it. As you approach, the ship will shoot a laser beam and missiles at you, which you'll need to dodge in order to survive. Also, there'll be enemies on the ground to destroy. We recommend using your Assault Boost to get out of the way and close the gap between you and the mining ship. Once you're close enough, target and shoot the ship's back-right leg. Using the leg after it gives way, you can now fly up onto the mining ship and start targeting its sub-generators. There are four for you to destroy further up the ship.

Work your way up the ship, taking caution when you're exposed as the laser beam from earlier will be targeting and trying to shoot you down. You'll find the sub-generators on both its left and right-hand side, another directly in front of the laser beam on the very top of the ship, and then a fourth below on its belly. They'll all be marked on your HUD with the red TGT symbol. Once all four sub-generators are destroyed, return to the top of the ship where the laser beam is. You'll now need to finish it off for good, and we'll detail that in our How to Beat Strider guide through the link. Once it's down, jump off the mining ship and return to the ground to complete the Mission.

Objective Log

  • Approach the weaponized mining ship STRIDER
  • Destroy the STRIDER's leg unit
  • Destroy all sub generators
  • Destroy the Eye
  • Withdraw from the deck
