@Octane $59.99 was MSRP for the Eternal Collection on PS4. $39.99 is the discounted price it quickly sunk to because almost everyone who wants it on PS4 has already purchased it previously.
I don't think they should charge more than MSRP (that'd be stupid), but I don't think they're obligated to launch the Switch version at a discount, either.
$59.99 is the right price for the Switch version.

@Ralizah That was four years ago though. I see a six year old game for $40, that's... fair I guess. It's currently €30 on other consoles.
I completely understand if it was a new game. That's expensive. But a port of an older game? The resources that went into porting this over to Switch pale in comparison to developing a new game. The profit margin is probably higher on this port than it was on the original release. Anyway, if a company like Activision prices a game at €40, they have very good reasons. They'd be one of the first to slap a €60 price tag on it. It's safe to assume they make more than enough money off this version.
We're getting new games like Ratchet & Clank for €40. A SOTC remake, but completely built from scratch, for €40. Even Nintendo had range of ''budget'' titles that lasted until the Switch. It's a competitive market.
@Ralizah That's weird. I didn't know that. But it did drop in price rather quickly then, since it's only €30 on PS4 right now. Maybe it didn't sell well and they decided that the €60 price tag wasn't a good strategy? I certainly don't remember it showing up in the sales charts.
Anyway, 40 is a fine price I think. 60 on PS4 and Xbox was too much IMO if it came out this year.
Oh nice I like the fact that I can go straight into Adventure mode without having to do story mode. Anyword if we can transfer characters from other versions of Diablo III?

@JohnnyShoulder funnily enough you could (and still can, I believe) do 360 to PS4 and PS3 to XB1 save transfer. Not sure Sony had much say in the matter, actually.
Bought Okami HD yesterday and am absolutely enthralled with it. Looks absolutely stunning both off and on TV, and it's very fun exploring & interacting with the environment, trying out your powers on everything.
I had actually played it years ago on PS2, but for reasons not remembered I dropped it right after reaching Hokkaido. That's been well over a decade ago though, so it's seemed like a brand new game so far.

Well I downloaded the Octopath Traveler demo last night and played it for an hour and half. I choose the hunter girl (her name ecsapes me right now) and I what I played In enjoyed it alot. It reminded me alot of the older SNES ers Final Fantasy. The Battle system is a bit odd so battles for me took awhile as I am still learning the mechanics but other then that it was fun. Definitely going to sink a bit more time into the demo and possible when I get paid next pick me up a copy.
