Arguably the best in the series. Great story, great bosses and the jungle setting really complements the stealth gameplay along with the various camo available, making for a great time.
@AgentCooper Ive only played the U.S. NES Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid Acid 1 and 2, Portable Ops and a little bit of the beginning of Metal Gear Solid 2 and still havent played Metal Gear Solid 4.
as for Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater i just want to know if the game's main story is any good to play through and enjoy since youre actually playing as Big Boss before he turns into a bad guy
@XandertheWise It is definitely worth it friend, in fact it’s my favourite story of the series and Big Boss is a great protagonist and his path to the ‘bad guy’ is truly excellent.
It’s my favourite game of the series with one of the best stories. The camo system is really cool and getting rid of the little map and vision cones from MGS1/2 made it feel much more interesting.
Probably one of the most important parts in the overall story of the series too.
@XandertheWise Oh you'll like this one. I place MGS3 up with MGS1 as one of the digestible and replayable top-tier storyline & games in the series. The characters are fully fleshed and developed, it's no wonder the later games after MGS4 focused solely on Big Boss.
i started playing the very beginning of Metal Gear Solid 3 that i bought separate off of the Playstation 4 PSN store from the Master Collection. Still need to get Metal Gear Solid 1 for Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 and Metal Gear Solid 1 obviously.
for Metal Gear Solid 3 i just started it, i dunno what to think of it. nice colors of the jungle that you end up at. the radio frequencies i need to remember. Metal Gear Solid 1's main radio freqs were easier to remember
