Topic: God I love Brave Fencer Musashi.

So I got tired of waiting for NA PSN to release something actually decent and tossed my BFM disc on the PS3.  GOD THIS GAME OWNS.

It has everything I like about A-RPGs--simple, accessible combat system, enough difficulty to keep you engaged, really logically laid out hub-town, and just a great interplay of intelligent systems (food-style item system, various statistic leveling, rescuing townspeople, etc.)

It also has...um...amazing voice acting

Am I the only person in the world that bought this for the FF8 demo originally and ended up finding one of my favorite games?  And am I the only person that cares if this makes it to PSN?

Indeed. BFM is my 5th all time favorite game. The combat is very smooth & simple. It's very funny, (Love all the RPG references they put into it!) Lots of replay value, especially when you experiment with the different abilities you assimilate by using Fusion. Square did everything right with this game, sadly I don't think it ever did too well in sales; in the US at least.

I'm actually planning on buying the JP version on PSN.
Then again, I could just pop in my PS1 copy. But I do wanna hear the JP voices.

Edit: Actually, no. Back then I didn't care for the demo; infact I don't think I've ever even touched the demo. I got BFM cause, well I wanted it.XD

I can't tell u how many times I've played the demo for this game. I've wanted this for so long its not funny. I've almost dropped the high prices to buy it recently but i keep hoping it will hit PSN. Since FF9 has now released this could be next, I hope so.

As do I. Or at least, I love it in my dreams. Seriously, Brave Fencer really needs to come to PSN.

i remember i got most of the way through it back in the day, and then i suddenly got stuck and stopped playing. i should probably pick it up again one of these days and see if i can't get through it at least once; i do remember having fun with it, and i've still got the disc, lol :3
