Topic: Any fantasy JRPG recommendations?

I'm looking for a new fantasy JRPG to get into, after getting disappointed by TWO in a row xD
What I look for is a deep story, some lightheartedness (Tales series is a good example for that), a world as open as possible (Ys Origin is NOT a good example for that ), and as little emphasis on politics as possible.
The latest game I've played is Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, which I didn't really like due to its heavy emphasis on politics. I'm looking for a game that has more things like, elf villages, fairy forests, dragons, evil sorcerers that plan on using some divine force/entity for their evil schemes... and less things like political conflicts between nations, military this, empire that, abducting the king to usurp the throne, etc. I own a PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
