I remember hearing there was going to be a "GTA: Vice City Nights" made for the vita. Such a shame if they aren't making a vita GTA, Liberty/Vice city stories on the psp where amazing.
Gravity Rush and Need for Speed show that the vita can handle awesome looking open world games aswell =/
I wouldn't be suprised if R* are doing nothing for the Vita. They haven't really done anything exceptional so far this generation as it is [Not many people are gonna agree with that statement but I dont give a damn. For me Rockstars offerings this generation have been average compared to last generation. Big whoop. Not everyone holds Rockstar in such high regard these days] The Vita is more than powerful enough for a spin-off, hell even a port of GTA5 would probably be feasable. I doubt there gonna bother doing so as theres probably not enough money in the Vita for them to think its worth it. Saying that the PsP got its own GTA's n that didn't exactly set the world on fire at first.
The Only thing R* have done this generation that I liked was Red Dead and Max Payne. I hated GTA4 so much. It was nothing like the trilogy on the PS2. All the humour was gone, story was awful, liberty city was awful, ammu-nation was gone, Lazlo was gone! Lazlo is so awesome and had like a 10 minute radio chat on GTA4. All the radio stations where rubbish as well. Only song i can actually remember liking from that ga,e was Stevie Nicks - Edge of 17.I Dont know why it got 10/10's

Of course keep in mind it was also rumoured they were working on something (they are on the list)
The PSP ones kept me playing for quite sometime, its just a shame that i only managed to purchase those two games three years later. Now i just want one on PS Vita (this time it can be a fully fledged one)

Hmmm i can understand the hate for GTA IV but GTA 5 seems like a return to form.

I dunno, the story could still be awful, especially if you are jumping around 3 different characters. I want/hope GTA5 is a return to form cause god knows i love me some good GTA!
@Legendary-bossI know! Im raising hell with that statement! Theres an angry mob gathering outside the office already lol Ive not really enjoyed any of Rockstars offerings. GTA4 was a letdown for me. Thats probably due to the fact that I still hold Vice City as being the pinnacle of the series, But after playing San Andreas, GTA4 just seemed a bit lacking on all fronts. I didn't even like San Andreas much but its a better game than 4 easily. Red Dead Redemption just felt like a chore to play through. Technically impressive for sure, ill give them credit for that. I just never found it much fun to play. The online was a bit 'meh' too. I actually prefered playing through Red Dead Revolver on Ps2 (could do with digging that game out for a go) Sure it was linear but it also seemed much more focused with what it was doing. Ive not played Max Payne 3 yet. It looks too far detached from the noire stylings of 1&2 to hold any interest for me. Its pretty cheap nowadays so Ill probably try it to see what they've done with the story but Im not expecting it to be better than the original 2. Im sure theres another game or 2 Im forgetting :/ oh well. Yeah. Not been that impressed with Rockstar this generation. Sure GTA5 could be great but Im not even bothered about it at all. I could quite happily not play it n it wouldnt bother me lol
@SuperSilverBack Im the same about GTA5. If I do give it a go it wont be for a while after release so then all the hype can die down. Still waiting for the hype to die for The Last of Us tho, not played it yet lol I bet the hype never ends for GTA5 :/

On GTA, I have hated every single one. Want to like them, I really do, but they're just so boring. Hoping 5 is the one that gets me into them as it looks good - though they all do in trailers which are inch-perfectly crafted - and having fallen in love with Red Dead I think that might help get me into it. Hopefully.

Im not really too fussed about GTA for the Vita anyway. I doubt it would shift more systems even with that game. The Vita has pretty much entrenched itself into a niche part of the market. Problem is Rockstar wont cater to that part of the market. So no GTA Vita.

This would be easy. I have Vice City on my Android phone so Rockstar could quite easily just port over the HD smartphone versions. My trusty XperiaU is able to handle it smoothly with medium settings so a maxed Vita version wouldn't be difficult at all. It is a tad baffling that they havent actually done that. Its only 1.4GB on Android so a digital download would be easy enough

Rockstar should hire another studio to have an HD collection of the first three. I mean look how Ocarina of Time 3D turned out when Nintendo hired Grezzo.

I'd definitely buy Vice City... for the 3rd time. I love that game. I'd want them to touch up the controls a bit as well though.
If they were to make one, I think it would take place in San Andreas. I say this because the other ones were based on older cities. Like GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories. So San Andreas Stories sound like that would be the title
