@Draco_V_Ecliptic Cool to see artists like John Scofield and Meshuggah in the same list! This is quite a tough question though - I've just compiled my top 10 albums of the year which was quite tricky in itself, let alone a list of all time. I'll have a think about it

@Draco_V_Ecliptic I'm not overly familiair with Scofield but I did enjoy his A Go Go album quite a bit (I use to listen to Medeski Martin & Wood a bit back in the day). Meshuggah-wise I'd go with Destroy Erase Improve, as that was the first album I've heard from them and it felt like being punched in the face. Never heard anything like it. Mind you, this was before the word 'djent' was even used and prog metal was mainly associated with Dream Theater et al!
@ShaiHulud You must listen to the song 'Protocol' by Sco, off 'Pick Hits Live' or any live version of the song, it's as close as he's ever come to being "metal".

@Draco_V_Ecliptic Ha! Not at all actually, I do listen to a lot of metal but metalcore is a genre that doesn't really do it for me. My name refers to the Fremen name for the sandworms from the Dune novels.
