@JDINCINERATOR Oh cheese cake is a really good choice, I know someone who picks it for birthdays too and it's light so you can eat the whole thing and not feel guilty about it. What does had your review published mean? and a newsletter I know of, do you mean game journalism?

@GirlVersusGame Yeah, it was Lotus Biscoff cheesecake too. I mean that I wrote a review and it's available to read on the website, like how Push Square have their review up on this website to read. Yes, I write a fortnightly newsletter for another website.
@JDINCINERATOR Oh I didn't know, I've only ever used this site, I know of some names but never visited them. The surface-web isn't really my thing but I like the forums here and the articles and comments can be educating in their own way. Is that what you've always wanted to do? write game reviews and things? has it changed much since you started? do you get to choose what you play? Is it weird writing a review for a game when you actually want to play it but have to keep that critical mindset in play too? I always thought it must be odd being a reviewer when a game you really wanted to play for so long arrives but you can't fully get lost in the content because you have to be thinking about the review too.
