It’s going to take someone like Sony to make it happen- similar to Castlevania Requim.
I can envision a scenario where Konami lease out the video game rights to some of their IP.
I think that’s already been happening as I strongly believe that Bluepoint are working on MGS Remake (or Demon Souls Remake).

@Bagshot Yeah there was already a remaster for those games. But it has not stopped publishers from issuing new ones. Shadow of the colossus has had a couple for instance.

I have no intention to buy a PS5, but if Sony manages to convince Konami to let them develop a game in that series, and especially if they get the Kojima/Del Toro/Junji Ito dreamtime back together, and it's exclusive to that system, I'll buy it on the week of the game's release.
