Well yea I think competition is not that good as some want to believe if all they do is buying 3dr party games
The crowd, accepting this immediately, assumed the anti-Eurasian posters and banners everywhere were the result of acts of sabotage by agents of Goldstein and ripped them from the walls.
Bombshell is just what this Gamescom and the internet needed.

O.k it sucks to be on Playstation team this year, Microsoft won E3 and now I really doubt Sony has anything planned that would be able to top this announcement.

Uncharted 4 and Bloodborne dont make me feel its sucks to have a PS4 XD I guess M$ had to get some bombshell if they want to compete

I'm always been a Playstation guy since PSOne and never really been jellous of other consoles until now. I still plan on buying a PS4 instead of Xbone (still playing on PS3 waiting for Persona) but Microsoft has really stepped up with Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break and now Rise of the Tomb Raider...... I find hard to justify my decision to go for PS4 except my believe that eventually Japanese develoeprs would start making games for it (Neptunia, Atelier, Tales, ect)
and the Rise of Tomb Raider and QBreak will likely be on PC at some point not like PS exclusives

This sort of crap is just going to make youtube worse. I'm going to have to unsub from the Xbox channels I'm subscribed to because outside of the guys and gals at PureXbox nearly every supposed professional Xbox journalist has become a pathetic fanboy/girl since E3.
Microsoft are serious now, shame but this sort of move makes me think more about which console is the best to get honestly.
I agree with you. I have a Wii U and I was thinking about getting a PS4 by the end of 2015. However, with this move from Microsoft, as well as all the others since E3, I'm more inclined to get a Xbox One.
Microsoft must be desperate to get people to buy an Xbox One. If only they listend to their fans at the beginning like Sony did they wouldn't have to resort to this stuff. Shame on you MS and Square, shame on you.
Looks like I wont be supporting either company now, shame too cause I really was looking forward to Sleeping Dogs on PS4.
Honestly Sony needs to go back and make the GTA series exclusive to the PS like back in the PS2 days that will show them.

Sony needs to do something. I don't care if it's moneyhat a third party or show off a new God of War, Syphon Filter and Gran Turismo one right after the other, just do something. PLEASE! I'm starting to feel like they just don't give a damn.
Not affected by the news since I own a Xbox One. Plan on buying a PS4 when I have the money. It pays off to own all three current-gen consoles after all!

I'm going to take that as a compliment, so thanks!
I was disappointed by the Sony conference, but only because it looks like my Vita will carry on gathering dust. That Rime, though...shiny!
I was disappointed by the continued heavy focus on indies, lack of AAA exclusives. Nothing against indies at all, and some them looked cool, but damn. That was a compliment by the way. PureXbox is pretty much the only Xbox-specific website I frequent. Though I do follow Ryan McCaffrey of IGN as well since he's a big Xbox guy and covers the news very well but keeps the fanboy stuff out of it.

Lol. I don't see a single game on Xbox I'd rather have than the many I CAN have on PS4. But thats just me then I guess.

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.
I don't get you people. It's ONE third party game that's now exclusive and you're questioning yourself to get an Xbox One? Wow. It's not like the other lineup of MS is stellar. But hey, different tastes and all, I get that, I just am wondering why it's this one game that's flipping the opinion of some of you. Weird.

Your hatred for anything and everything MS is well documented here though, so nothing they do is going to impress you. Not all of us harbor that same hatred. This game is just another on a list of other games that make the X1, at least imo, more interesting than PS4 right now. I'm fortunate to be in a spot where I can own both consoles but if I could only own one well, I'd really be regretting the PS4 right now. MS is getting every third party game, Sony is not and this Tomb Raider move is a big blow. On the AAA exclusive front, again, like you said different tastes and all but I'm much more interested in Quantum Break, Crackdown, Halo 5 and if I'm going to trying something different Scalebound seems more appealing than Bloodborne.
I'm seriously considering boycotting SE releases though. The more I thought about it as the day went on, the more we're talking about a real d*ck move here. Make tons of money off gullible idiots, myself included, who bought Tomb Raider not once but twice, on PlayStation, only to stick the finger up at us all despite the games selling better on the PS brand for MS' money. What's the tradeoff? Downloadable crap? F*ck off. And what happens to all the gullible idiots who will run out and buy Sleeping Dogs Definitive when MS decides it wants to moneyhat that sequel? I really hope this move does more harm than good to SE, but unfortunately I know if it turns out to be timed exclusive, people will just forgive and forget. I've got no sympathy for Capcom for the spot its in right now for the dumb as sh*t decisions it made over the years, but if there's one company that deserves to be right there on the same level, close to being finished, it's SquareEnix. This is also where I play the hypocrite role though... Since MS wants to play dirty, I'd love, love love, love if Sony could get the money together and get GTA back as an exclusive, because it would completely destroy the minds of the Xbox fanboys and there wouldn't be a single move MS could pull to really make up for that loss. Could moneyhat CoD sure, but they already have that audience and really, GTA might be bigger. I'd be over the moon to see it happen. Just kick the dirt in MS' eyes a little bit. But Take Two isn't dumb as sh*t like a certain Japanese outfit. It knows the money it'd be giving up.

I respect your opinions here more than most people's opinions, but this is not me being blinded by microsoft-hatred. I do hate them though. I just don't see, judging from my personal taste, what games on MS platform are any better suited for me than on PS4. Since I'm no longer interested in Halo, Gears or Forza, would have probably never bought Tomb Raider and absolutely have no interest in Sunset Overdrive I don't see it. With Bloodborne, Lords of the Fallen, Diablo 3, Destiny, Metal Gear Solid, P.T. / Silent Hills thing, The Order, Little Big Planet 3, Driveclub, Farcry 4, Uncharted 4, Planetside 2, No Mans Sky.... I'll have plenty to play in the coming months, regardless if they're exclusive or not. It's not me disagreeing on your people's different taste, It's just me wondering how those of you that are eying towards Xbox One seemingly don't find enough to play on the Playstation platform but believe they would on the Xbox One. Management-attitude, power of the platform itself aside now.
No offense here. I really just can't get it. Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Forza, Halo, Gears and maybe Alan Wake are really that good, that much better than the Sony offerings? And It's not like any of those games mentioned (except those that already released like Forza) will be out too soon, or sooner than some PS games. That's all. Just wondering.
EDIT: And about my hatred and not being impressed by anything they do. I'm very much able to appreciate a good move by a company, even by EA or MS. Think about it, I was in the Xbox Camp the past 7 years, got fed up with their policies and selection of exclusives and switched sides to Sony, which I hated with a passion for years, as the switch in their attitude surrounding the PS4 impressed me. I might have my preferences, all of us do, but I'm not a blind, raging fanboy! I just wanna know other people's motivations.
EDIT #2: And to be honest, buying exclusivity of third party games, no matter who does it, is really dumb in my book. It only hurts the player, one or the other. So yeah if Sony could afford GTA exclusivity, that would definitely be a "tactical blow" to MS. But honestly? I wouldn't want the Xbox gamers to miss out on GTA just because im in the PS camp.
Halo is my favorite franchise so yes, for me that's better than any Sony's offerings- though Uncharted is really damn close- and the chance to play Halo 2 online again this fall with my college friends? Huge. Forza Horizon 2 (don't care for the Motorsport sim series) is next month, Sunset Overdrive is October, both coming before the next big PS exclusive I'm looking forward to. That's not to say there's nothing to play on the PS4, I'll be getting the multiplats there, thing is if we're just talking a scenario where we break down the lineups from now until the end of 2015 and I could only have one consoles, there's only two games, MLB The Show and Uncharted 4, that I'd really be disappointed about missing. On the other hand there's at least 4 MS exclusives I'd miss playing plus Tomb Raider. I'd just like to see Sony get it in gear. I'm still confident that just like the 3 gens, PS will be the go-to brand for me, because we're just in the start of the gen, but like the last one, it's been pretty slow, and MS has shown even more willingness this time to spend and spend big on key franchises. If it can lock up Tomb Raider, I can only wonder what follows. Fallout? Mass Effect? Assassin's Creed? Those would be other big check marks for the X1.
