Whilst I'm glad Lewis is healthy again, especially as it seems like he had quite bad, it's a shame we won't get to see Russell in the car again this weekend. It would be great he if somehow managed to get a point for Williams in this last race.

Flawless drive by Max but that was quite a dull finish to was has been a quite eventful season. Looking forward to seeing what Lando and Ricciardo can do next year with a Merc engine in the McLaren. It will also be interesting to see if Seb can re-find his form at Aston Martin (Racing Point).

@BearsEatBeets @Arugula To be honest, doesn’t it being dull more have to do with it being a rubbish track 😂

@nessisonett The tracks certainly are a big factor in which are the duller tracks. Maybe they could look at the more successful tracks and try adapting them a bit if they can. But they will probably wait until the 2022 changes and see if they work as planned. It could certainly revitalise the sport if they do.

Nice mix to Quali 1, hopefully Lando can keep that up for the whole session. I'll be surprised if Hamilton doesn't get pole though with his record there.

I think it's been an entertaining start to the season so far, long may it continue.

Quali looking quite open in Q1 at Monaco but will probably be the usual suspects come Q3.

Love McLaren's livery for this race weekend, they should keep it for next season.

@Arugula It's out soon isn't it? Might have to be a last minute addition or post launch patch but it would be cool if they do. I haven't played an F1 game on console but I'm tempted this year as playing Wreckfest has rekindled my racing itch.

Quali still looking like several of them could pinch pole.

@Arugula yeah I was cynically curious until I saw the replay. He will have his fingers crossed he hasn't damaged the gearbox. Shame as it was a good fight going on.

Looks like Ferrari should have played it safe. Huge for Verstappen and the championship.

Verstappen couldn't have angled his car anymore than he did to cover off Bottas. Well this is probably the finishing positions barring crashes or pitstop errors.

Who on earth is the Director? Two cars side by side going up the hill and they cut to a replay!

@Arugula I had to laugh when they start showing a replay of what happened from onboard Bottas who was right behind and then cut away again to show Perez going into the pits.
Thankfully it should be done it time for the football and I'll be very happy with this podium.

Baku is a great track. What a crazy qualifying. Should make for a great race tomorrow. I'm hoping Lando gets let off for his Red Flag infringement.

@Arugula They have been lenient due to the how quickly he had to react so he has only got a 3 place penalty. Yeah I think Baku and also the fairly modern Texas GP are great additions to the calendar. I think we should see some good overtakes and if qualifying is anything to go by probably a safety car or two.

They were driving round that track like me in the Codies games. Barriers are meant to be slammed into at speed, didn’t you know?

Time for a underwear change for Stroll. Can’t imagine there’s been a much faster puncture in F1.
