Deljo

Been a purely console boy for over 40 years but have recently considered a gaming laptop but have no idea where to start. Any suggestions for one that's reasonable priced but decent enough that it would be able to play the likes of half life on the quest 2?

@Deljo If you want stable VR on a laptop, I’m afraid you’re gonna have to shell out quite a lot. i7 processor, 8 or 16GB RAM probably. You’ll be looking at least £800, possibly over a grand. It’s an extremely demanding game, especially since you’ll need a stable frame rate or you’ll be ill. I’d start by looking at a Dell, they’re solid and aren’t lumbered with the rubbish ‘gamer’ aesthetic and pointless bloatware that Alienware and those sorts of brands have.

Wolverine

This was to be expected as the game is pretty good

@Wolverine I somehow still have no idea what that game is (other then popular and made by Amazon). Guess I should catch up.

@Wolverine I try to steer clear of MMORPG’s as they just suck up every possible hour of your life… but I always thought this one looked appealing.

**** DLC!
