I do know this movie, but would have gone for a European set spy thriller of some kind for the first pic, otherwise. It's a harmless 2010's era mystery fare, not super memorable, but it is vaguely memorable, funnily enough.

A movie i've seen a bunch (you should watch it, soon. I'd trade having seen it too much to be able to see it again without thinking i'd be sick of it by now haha) Second clue was like a slap in the face, and a bit too easy. First picture I just thought "jesus, that looks rough" so picked Jaws because "sea" looking back I maybe get the context of the first shot being so rough. Imagine it's from the news reel footage

I kind of wish they used a shot with Mark Margolis and this would have been a suitable pic 2 in my opinion:

@Ravix That building was a dead giveaway for me, so much of the final act of the movie takes place there.

I'll add that previous movie to my list with The Godfather as one to give a try. It's not a genre that interests me so I've never given them a chance.
I also thought Jaws at the start 😄.

EDIT: Just realised I've got 3 of the last 4 on the first picture. It can't last.

@BearsEatBeets correct 😅 I won't use it as an excuse for not knowing things from before my time though. Probably why I at least guessed it as a well-known movie in the suggested genre. The vibe I got was very clearly of an American nostalgia classic. And i'd say the type of bikes did some heavy lifting on narrowing down my guess range, too.

Had a long think on the first pic and thought I came up with good shout but no. Then I got more and more confused as I skipped. Thought I recognised the back of a certain actress on 4 but knew it was neither of her films I could think off. Got to 5 and the notable actor clue made me laugh and think I'm never getting this one. Then I remembered the only film of his that fit the genre and it was correct.
Totally got this from the clues as the pictures did nothing for me 😄

@Ravix Thanks for the tip. I wasn't sure but went with the naffest film in that genre I could think off.

@BearsEatBeets it is appalling, and it is burned into my mind for being so sh** 😂 thought it might be a bit of a clue, as it really is a stand-out shocker haha. I think it's rating should be way lower than it is, too. I can't think of any redeemable qualities. It doesn't even have a Nic Cage in it to distract from the awfulness, like some other shockers do

@Ravix Thankfully I've not actually seen it. Just aware of it and it's reputation as a stinker. Thanks to your clue I didn't go far enough to see it's score but that often is quite a handy clue. It's funny how often the metacritic and IMDB scores can be widely different though.

No real strong memory of the plot itself (I know for sure it is one of many i'd been made to watch as a teen, and gone along with doing so for brownie points 👀) but I knew the studio right away, and by pic three I knew the most likely title I'd go for, and I was right. Isn't memory a funny thing. Part of my brain must have taken some notice of the movie. And today I learned the film's release date is way before i'd assumed. Must have already been considered a classic as I know they were popular on the dvd/blu ray format within my social circle and assumed they were of that era and i'd never even considered they were already old movies reprinted to optical disc 😅
