Topic: Formatting

Howdy. Call me stupid but...I just can't figure out how to do certain formatting in the comments section! Making things bold is easy enough, but I was looking to get a comprehensive guide!

UPDATE (from @Octane, and thanks all for the help!) :

NOTE : For the following list, be sure to replace all the parentheses ''( )'' with brackets ''[ ]'':

Bold: (alternatively, you can also put an asterisk in front and at the end of a word)
(b)insert text here(/b)

Underscore:
(u)insert text here(/u)

Italic:
(i)insert text here(/i)

Strikethrough:
(del)insert text here(/del)

^Superscript:
(sup)insert text here(/sup)

_Subscript:
(sub)insert text here(/sub)

Spoiler:
(spoiler)insert text here(/spoiler)

Link, https://www.pushsquare.com/:
(url)insert URL here(/url)

Link in text:
(url=insert URL here)insert text here(/url)

Image or GIF:
(img)insert image URL here(/img)

For YouTube and Tweets you can just copy the URL and paste it here, the site handles the rest of the formatting for you!

And for a horizontal line:

Just use three minus signs ''-'' next to each other.

@smelly_jr well for spoilers is done the same way as bold just replace the word strong with spoiler and the same for images just type img instead as for youtube videos well just post the link and it should do it by itself

@FullbringIchigo What if it's purely for sharing purposes! Like in the forums once, I suggested that someone play as a camper in Call of Duty to rack-up kills and posted a video of me doing just that. I only have 2 subscribers on my YouTube channel, for example, so I'm not trying to sell anything, LOL.

Is there any possibility of creating that in the help and suggestions section and sticky it? Think it would be very useful for noobs (like me).

I might save that somewhere until there is something more permanent on the forum.
