This is a tough one, and I'll probably forget some important games, but here goes:

-LittleBigPlanet, for popularising user generated content.
-Gears of War, for bringing TPS/cover shooters up to scratch.
-Wii Sports, for being THE Wii game.
-Guitar Hero, for pioneering instrument controllers and making rhythm games cool.
-Uncharted, for setting a new benchmark for writing, storytelling and characters you actually care about.

Given the opportunity, what game would you want to play versus Shuhei Yoshida?

Not that I care particularly who Shuhei Yoshida is (I do know but as controversial as this is on a PS site, I don't actually care until things either drastically deteriorate or significantly improve) or have any particular desire to play a competitive game against him, I would probably pick Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - purely because that is my competitive MP game of choice at the moment and my answer would be the same regardless of the person.

There does appear to be a lot of Zombie games (although I do think they make a perfect enemy as they are relentless, not affected by Day/Night (unlike Vampires - werewolves are only dangerous once every 28 days and only for a few hours at night), don't need to rest etc. Personally I struggle to see what alternatives could be used that fulfils the same 'role' without going Sci-fi (Aliens). What could replace Zombies in those games WITHOUT changing the dynamics?

Only the Lego games - mainly as the humour transcends age.

Join a community group or club relating to something you love. A fair few years ago I joined my local amateur theatre group, despite a lack of both confidence and experience. Almost immediately I felt at home and met a ton of really great people. The rest is history and I've since performed multiple times onstage and also produced two shows, and I'm sorta on the committee too! I've never been so busy, but I'm also having a total blast.

My point is, if there's something you like doing, find a group of people who share that passion and you will have the most amazing time.

Ideal sandwich? (I feel like I've asked this before, but whatever - sandwiches.)

I like the turkey breast sandwich with the hearty Italian bread and honey mustard that you can get from Subway.

Ever tried something so spicy that you ended up regretting?

Quintumply

I'm not a huge lover of spicy food, although a nice kick can be really good.

Me and my gf tried those new Roulette Doritos. Most of the Doritos are cheese flavoured but there are a couple in the bag that are ludicrously hot. I had one of those and it was insane. I know it's just a crisp but it was probably the hottest thing I've ever eaten. Never again.

What do you love to do outside of gaming?

For me, it's most probably writing stuff, whether it's for Push Square or just random stories or that kind of thing. I've also got a lot of interest in photography, and the area I live in has quite a lot of hills and landscapes that are great to take photos from, as well as hiking on. In terms of sports, it's mostly football, badminton, and cross-country running for me, but none competitively. Cooking's always appealed to me, too.

If you had to move country, where would you move to?

What 3 things would like the PS4 to do that other consoles can and what 3 things do you think it has that other consoles don't (or at least not as well) that they could learn from?

@BAMozzy: That's a tough question to answer as the ps4 can do most things that other consoles can. So I will only comment on the standout features ps4 has.

1) on the fly screenshot sharing
2) speaker in the pad

That's about it I think...

@themcnoisy: depends Jam on Toast, Syrup on Pancakes and never chutney!

3 things I would like the PS4 to do 1: External HDD support. 2: Website messaging (ie from a LFG group direct to console). 3: Snap apps (party for example)
3 things the PS4 does other consoles could do (or at least improve). 1: Controller options (Touch pad, speaker motion) 2: Groups/Communities 3: (can't think of anything specific myself at the moment...)

Beaten to it... I don't have a Favourite burger chain although I will avoid McDonalds! I would rather buy a burger from a non-chain outlet or make my own than buy from these.

Baked bread - I drink gallons of coffee but there's a reason supermarkets pump out bread like its going out of fashion... And that's the smell of fresh bread. It makes people hungry.

I have no idea what 'hell in a cell' is but doesn't sound 'fun'. Helldivers isn't something that appeals greatly but by default would be my choice out of these...

Linear or open world games?

[Edited by WanderingBullet]

Huntin' monsters erryday.

BAMozzy

Its difficult to consider anything other than VR as I can't see any alternative developments in gaming. Most other things have been tried - we have seen a lot of alternatives to controlling games as well as a few different ways to view from 3D, VR and with Hololens even AR.
Looking at gaming trends, we have certainly seen a resurgence of the 2D platformer so I think its only natural and inevitable to see 3D platformers become the next 'Fad' and could tie in to the VR as well.

@iDangerMouse_: I can think of a few that could turn out to be 'disappointing' but I think No Mans Sky could well disappoint a lot of people. Its ambition could weigh heavily on the final outcome. It could turn out to be a very boring and repetitive experience with a lot of 'deja vu' in the planets. Generally the most hyped and ambitious titles tend to disappoint - not because they are as bad as other games but because they fail to live up to the expectation.

What game release in 2016 do you think will win at least 1 GotY award?
