Hi, my PS5 Pro came with one controller, and even though I mostly play solo, I always have two controllers, so when one runs out of battery I switch to the other one, I can sometimes have long gaming sessions of many hours, Lol!
So I will almost certainly buy another controller for my PS5 pro.
What controllers do you recommend? eg: good quality/value?
Just stick with Sony OEM ones or look at a 3rd party one maybe?
I honestly think stick with the PS5 controllers. This generation especially hasn't really had anything worthwhile splashing out for. The DualSense Edge is nice if you fancy paying a bit more but definitely lookout for discounts, offers etc...
I'd say, compared the PS4 era of controllers, this generation has been a bit lacklustre when its come to 3rd party peripherals. I know Nacon and other have done their own "Pro" controller but I think PS5 and its selling point is those haptic triggers and its vibration and speaker function. It all seems to be best with Sony i'd say. Depends what your price is too of course!
Theres definitely some mid-range 3rd party controllers out there that could be worth a shout.
I think issue is, were all less like to branch out and try things because they've all become really expensive.
I was very nearly tempted by one of Razers Raiju V3 controller. Razer usually makes decent kit
