If I keep all my PS4 games on an external hard drive that will always be plugged in to the back of the PS5, I know you can run games off it without having to transfer to the internal SSD. Question is - will they still be able to take advantage of the game boost, and upgrades that the PS5 enables (like 60fps for Tsushima for instance)?
From what I understand. Yes they will, the only thing you won't notice is the loading speed difference. They will be the same loading speed as they are now. Plus they won't have the new controller functions such as haptic trigger support.
