Oh I’m not completely sure but I think it’s a sort of sewing kit to arrange clothes and capes. I like capes so that’s cool.

@JJ2 yeah capes are cool… regardless of what The Incredibles taught us.

Xbox owners can now preload the game. Hopefully will be soon for us too. Not that it makes the time go faster, but it makes the game feel that much closer to being released.

So there is a streamed interview today and tomorrow the Red Bull Gaming event with a lot of info and new footage I guess.
Now is the time to wonder how much spoiler is too much. Not to mention a lot of people have the game already. 🤔

I think reviews embargo is on Wednesday but it isn’t official.

@JJ2 I've tried to avoid nearly everything! Haven't even really skimmed the classes etc and only watched one 30 min stream of the network test. I've preordered physical so hoping it comes a day or two before officiall release. Gutted I'm working next weekend

@JJ2 I think there is like a post card or something?! I managed to get a PS5 version for £45 so decent value for a new release too. Going to need those fast load times for the inevitable deaths!

Got my Collectors Edition coming next week and then got the following week off work. 😁

@R1spam Oh yes indeed, and the statue. Will add it to my meagre display of gaming merch, and the book will sit nicely with my artworks books of Sekiro, Dark Souls 1 and 2. 🤓

I was kinda thinking that if I devoted my whole weekend and my day off next week to Horizon Forbidden West… them maaayyyybeee I could get the plat in time to start Elden Ring next Friday. Well, the missus has kyboshed that one and has ‘plans’ for my day off next week 😭.

Probably a good thing though, as even though I’m desperate to play Elden Ring asap… I don’t think Forbidden West is a game that should be rushed. So I guess I’ll just get to Elden Ring when I get to it.

I’m honestly super hyped, but dreading the inevitable lack of pause. Having to exit the game every time the puppy need to go out or the kids need help is silly.

@Mega-Gazz Here’s hoping dashboard pauses the game. I know it does with some games.

@Mega-Gazz Having photo mode to function as a pause button was really nice in Demon’s Souls. I haven’t heard anything about a photo mode in Elden Ring though.

How do you pause an online game?
No soulsborne game had pause.

Sekiro is single player, so it doesn't count.

This excuse is tired and old, sorry. The games are 99.9% single player and could be paused fine when not invading
