I'm looking to buy a new PS5, but before i do i wish to sell my old PS4 pro in order to use those funds towards the new console. Aside from save files (which i can download off my PS4 via a usb drive), will all my digital games appear on my new console after i've logged into my account or do i need to hold off selling my PS4 if i need to make a connection between the two consoles to transfer my games ?
As long as you log in with the same account, you will be able to download all your digital games from your library. Transfering the installed games between consoles might be faster but it's not required.
