Hey all. So I’ve been hearing there is a discrepancy for people between that placed an order on amazon last night either stating “pre-ordered” or “order received.” I’m a bit concerned if mine says order received and would love y’all’s thoughts.

Mine just says "Arriving Thurs, 19 Nov". I'm sure Amazon have more than enough stock to cope with demand. They would have closed pre orders way before they had run out of stock as I imagine they'll release another wave of pre orders again soon.

I managed to get a PS5 order with VERY.co.uk and got a Thursday 19th November delivery.

To be honest as long as it arrive by end of November i will be happy as it was a mission getting an order!

I must of reloaded the webpage over 200 times today!

Feel free to add me on Switch.

I ordered from Amazon UK yesterday, order email arrived saying 'Thanks for your order. We’ll let you know once your item(s) have dispatched. '. Online status says 'Ordered on 17 September 2020 '. May well be different in the US.

Amazon have really let me down, they informed me I'll be charged of my order in 3 days when other sites are only charging once dispatched.

Means I won't be getting my PS5 this launch unless I get one by some miracle from ShopTo or Smyths.

@DonJorginho Weird how Amazon have done that, as they are one of the companies that usually don't charge you until the item is dispatched. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Argos, who charged me yet the item was still in my basket and out of stock. Doing my head in and stressing me out a bit. Tempted to leave it for a couple of weeks and hopefully things have calmed down a bit.

@JohnnyShoulder i was confused too so spoke to someone else from Amazon and they confirmed I won't be charged till November and it was an error on the part of the previous new support worker!!

So we back on they hype train!!

@DonJorginho Was it the same person that put Demon Souls was coming to PC on the trailer lol?

Thats good. I've had Cyberpunk pre-ordered since last year and not had anything like that. Obviously mistakes will happen and Amazon have pretty good customer service who usually get things sorted from my experience.

I was just talking to amazon uk about a different order that had been delayed and I jokingly asked if my PS5 would arrive on the release date and I was told I would definitley get it on the 19th.

This issue has come up once again, and I don't understand why. As someone said above, Amazon has enough stock to cope with the demands. It has to be an issue related to their software or something else. I placed an order a couple of days ago, and the delivery date is for June! I'm sorry, but that's insane. I have to wait until June! However, my wife ordered these scales https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Smart-Body-Scale-Black/dp/B08XYX8... , and she has no issue with that order. Honestly, I refuse to understand what's going on.
