Topic: Your Latest PS4 Purchase

I understand your joy. A friend let me use his PS4 because he bought himself a PS5. And the PS4 was gathering dust. I was incredibly happy when he brought it to me, along with a few game discs. Now I'm playing The Last of Us Part I. I'm thinking of buying Part II. The last thing I bought was Battlefield 5, but it's hard to control the crosshairs.

Since I need to return it to the library soon and I've been enjoying the game, I purchased a digital copy of Super Neptunia RPG, on sale for $7.50.

Killzone Shadow Fall - will never play it in all likelihood but picked it up for the shelf to sit alongside the trilogy box set I picked up the other day.

Enjoy. A Hugely underrated game in my opinion. Initial playthrough might seem underwhelming but repeat playthrough especially on higher difficulties gives the game time to shine.
Shame the platinum is unobtainable, the MP with Bots was good fun.

Thanks to the PS Store's Black Friday sale, I just got Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition and its additional "Episode Ardyn" DLC for 60% off, meaning it all cost less than the number in its title.

I purchased Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online for $9.00 thanks to the Black Friday PS Store sale, and downloaded all of the free DLC for it as well.

... Are the Neptunia games really the only games you're gonna get on your PS4 @Nep-Nep-Freak?

Possibly 🤣. They're the main reason I got a PS4 in the first place. Though I am looking into a few other games here and there as well.

@HallowMoonshadow, I'm looking into potentially getting into the Trails series and Fantasy Life i eventually. Perhaps on PS4, or PC, or Switch. When I have the time and money for it 🤣.

Transformers: Battlegrounds - Standard Edition - this games gonna be delisted in little over a week but is currently 90% off… so £1.99 in the UK. I just picked a copy up myself… it will show as £24.99, which is for the Complete Edition but if you click onto it and change the version to Standard you’ll get the reduced price.

@graymamba What is it with Transformers games always getting delisted? I haven't played any of them myself, but I remember Platinum's Transformers: Devastation was also delisted just a few years after release despite being well-received. I mean, I guess I can understand it comes down to licensing agreements, but it seems counter-productive to me for them to be so strict that every game has just a few years on the market before being taken down forever...

@Tjuz ikr, at least with Devastation you get still get a physical copy if you manage to find one… I picked up a PS4 copy just last year as it goes. Pretty sure this one was a digital only release though, in which case a delisting renders it totally extinct.

@graymamba Glad you were still able to get a (presumably used) copy of Devastation at least! And that for this one you managed to grab it in time before it disappears into the abyss forever. Maybe they'll come back with some type of Master Collection at some point when Hasbro decides to cash in on a pool of untapped dollar bills!

I got a physical copy of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1+ as a Christmas present and started playing it today.

Stumbled upon a PS4 game that I’d never heard of last night… but something about the title made me dig a little:

Alekhine’s Gun

So… apparently it’s a Russian knock-off of the Hitman games. It’s supposedly terrible but I’m intrigued for some reason and managed to find a copy on Amazon for around £15.00.

@graymamba Speaking as a Hitman fan, if it turns out to be hilariously janky, please let me know! Can totally understand the morbid fascination with such things.
