I bought THPS1+2 on a whim and now I'm watching skateboarding championships on YouTube. Man, I get into fads so easily (or back into fads in this case since I did actually skate when I was in my late teens). The game is that nostalgic mix of insanely frustrating and incredibly addictive, I love it. Though I miss some of the changes they made as the series went on, like being able to get off your board.
@Kidfried Awesome! What a great deal for those games.
Yeah, I have DV3 already and would very much like to give it a whirl sometime in the near future if @Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy has a little time until being ready. Foxy’s current playthrough of D2 has me hyped up to get back into the world. Seems like there was one or two others that have a plan to play it too, but I forget who.
I’m making my way through Ghost of T for my big game so I’ve got that to work on in the meantime, no problem. So to start in a week or two (or longer if needed) is no sweat for me.

Since Ultra Despair girls is a third person shooter from what I gather and therefore plays completely differently @Kidfried I was thinking of playing it right after Danganronpa 2.
I believe @crimsontadpoles said they'd prefer to play through V3 by themselves at a much slower pace & @nessisonett has yet to start up Danganronpa 2 @Th3solution (And he has quite a few games on his plate at the moment it seems)
I'm just at chapter 3's end in Goodbye Despair (I finished it yesterday and I'll probably start a little of chapter 4 tonight) so it'd be at least two/three weeks before I can throw my hat in the ring to tag along with you guys

@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy Yeah, there's not much point waiting for me. I did play Danganronpa 2 earlier this year, so want to give it a bit longer before playing Ultra Despair Girls, and then some time after that before Danganronpa V3.
Plus, I tend to do one chapter per week, which seems to be much slower than everyone else.
"Preoccupied with a single leaf, you won’t see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree, you’ll miss the entire forest. Don't be preoccupied with a single spot. See everything in its entirety...effortlessly. That is what it means...to truly "see." "
@crimsontadpoles What sort of game is Ultra Despair Girls when it's at home? Sounds awesome.

@Draco_V_Ecliptic It's a spin-off of the Danganronpa series. The regular Danganronpa games are visual novels about a group of students that are trapped somewhere, who are told that if they want to escape, they'll have to commit a murder. Then there's investigation and trial sections where everyone is trying to figure out who the murderer is.
Ultra Despair Girls is a spin-off, so it's quite different to the regular games. I don't know that much about it, but I gather it's more of an action game with third person shooter elements.
@crimsontadpoles And you only became interested in it due to the Dangonronpa series? That's cool, I hope you enjoy it. Let me know how you get on with it.

@nessisonett Only played Mafia 2 on the 360. I had a strange craving for cheese and ham sarnies and finding old copies of Playboy when I was playing it.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

I went on a little spending spree and bought £50 credit from ShopTo so picked up Nioh 2, Uncharted The Lost Legacy and Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered as that’s the one I’m onto next!
I picked up Nier Automata and Nino kuni II from CEX for £22 so after I finish FFXV they'll be next on my playlist, I've been on a jrpg binge the last few month
@RogerRoger You'll have to give us your thoughts on Kentucky Route Zero as well! I'm glad to see both Kidfried and Thrillho loved it, but I'm not quite sure if I should return to it myself. I played the first episode, but it was just a bit too slow for me to care. Maybe it gets better, though? You'll have to let me know!
Just started Death Stranding, the graphics are very impressive. I'm a few hours in, really enjoying it so far. Everything about it is very Kojima, you can tell that he's the driving force behind it.
@LieutenantFatman One of my favorites this generation. Yes, it is very Kojima-ey, but it’s a breath of fresh air from the standard gaming output. I’m sad that it didn’t sell better because I want to see more of these experimental new IPs. Let us know how you get along over the course of the game.

@Arugula Yeah, see that’s the thing — Sony has been pretty quiet about the sales numbers, which is a bad sign. The best we got was Kojima saying that the game sold well enough to meet the production costs and turn a profit. Very vague. I think I heard guesses of maybe about 2 million copies sold. Of course that was before the PC port.
I think Sony seems to be distancing from Kojima Productions, or vice versa. KP has definitely been giving the impression that they are going mult platform, from the sounds of it.
