Topic: Yakuza 3-4-5 Remastered

Im starting to get worried about Euro/US versions of these. Already part 3 has been released a while back in Japan, also 4 will be out in December. Shouldn't we be hearing something about part 3 soon?

I would like to think that their waiting to have all three out first before any western release is announced. I mean they have too surely?

@AdamNovice I seriously hope that's not the reason,4 isn't out yet,who knows when 5 will be out. That would mean we would need to wait at least a year just for part 3! Hope youre wrong.

I agree with Adam; I think they will bundle them up for a Western release, as with the Devil May Cry collection. The West must be a small market compared to the Japanese one, with Yakuza, so it makes sense for them to prioritize their biggest [home] market first.

I do think they’ll come bundled.
In the event they do release standalone I only really need to wait on Yakuza 3.
4&5 last time I checked are on PSNow, so I’ll play them there & I’ve got Y6 sitting on the shelf.

Well,now part 4 was released in Japan this month. Not to mention that part 3 was released in Japan ages ago. Hope Im wrong, but with Sega announcing the project judge game for Europe and USA this summer,hope they haven't given up on yakuza 3-4-5.

Very sad right now. Yakuza 5 remastered has been announced for Japan and Hong Kong for June. We have still to even get part 3. Cant believe they've seemingly ditched the series.

@hulkie Let's wait and see, it may well be that they will wait to 5's out in Japan then maybe release all three together over here.

I am disappointed the news has flatlined. Having played 0, k1 and k2 I don't want to blast straight to 6.

I am disappointed to see this thread was upped without news it’s been announced.

I guess the PC release of K2 is the main focus for remakes at the moment.

The Collection is now up on the NA PS Store for the price of $59.99. $60 for 3 games is not a bad price. Think I will grab it next payday.

I just preordered it coming on Tuesday. Lovely physical box with 3/4 on one disc and 5 on the other. Should tide me over until FF7 and I still have DmCV to finish too.

@KratosMD Yep, the series is also called Ryu ga Gotoku in Japan which you probably know from the fact Y7 is known as Yakuza: Like a Dragon over here. It’s also referenced in Persona 5 as one of the movies you can see is called Like a Dragon and roughly tells the story of the first game. And now Yakuza 7 is a turn based RPG so it all makes sense now!

@KratosMD Rikiya is good fun for his wide eyed naivety in Kamurocho. The couple of side quests with him are good fun, especially the one with his tattoo.
