I've ordered 4 games for PS4 so far, one new, sealed and 3 second hand. All of the games arrive with CD not being in it's proper place in the box and instead flying around inside it... I could still understand if 1 or 2 pre-owned games was like this, due to the ex-owner being careless or something, but with 3 and 1 new game, this has become an usual trend. Did that happen to anyone else? Do PS4 game boxes have bad design?
Nope all of mine have come just fine in their casings. Maybe it's the way someone at the store you buy them from handles the boxes or your mail carrier.
I have bought the following disc games
AC IV
NBA 2k14
NBA 2K15
WWE 2K15
COD Advance Warfare
Lego Marvel
GTA V
All but COD and NBA 2K14 were new and all even the used ones were fine in the cases.

All of my games have been secure in their cases. I have mine delivered as I buy online and so go through the Royal Mail and their 'handling', dropped through the letterbox and still remain held in their case.
A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!
Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
Hah, funny. All the discs I got in mail were out of their place in the box, if you guys had no problems with this then I must be mega super unlucky!
Ive had the same issue, Watchdogs when I got the ps4 and Alien isolation last week. They are bouncing around in the case.

Funny, none of my games do that. I'd agree with those saying it's been handled roughly.
Also, they're called Blu-Rays, not CDs, the PS1 used those. I actually thought this was about PS1 games until I clicked on it. Sorry, it was bugging me.
Get on this, I bought a mega drive game and that wont stay in the plastic grip in the box, madness. Now I doubt anyone's had that before.

Got to agree with the others on this one - this is something I've never encountered, and I have to deal with not just the mail carrier but also the usually pretty haphazard handling of the guys in our post room (I get most packages delivered to my work address).

I've had a few loose in the past, mostly digital now though as we have 2 PS4's in our house I would be silly not to, only game's I know I will trade in I buy physical, mostly SP game's, Bloodborne for example I wish i'd bought physical.

Yeah that's like me. Games that I know I won't play much I beat them I buy physical copies of, ACIV, Lego Marvel. Ones like Diablo III I buy digitally unless for some reason there is a crazy sale on it.

I still call all disc media CDs I think most people do as can be seen here since everyone knew what the op was talking about except you.
