So far the game's that have come out have been subpar lately [not everyone] mostly 3rd parties, I know what you are thinking, "ps4 is great its the greatest system evaaaa!" The system itself is great no question about it, but I cringe these day's and so does my ps4 because I have to put games in it that come from reputable sources but play like they were made by 3rd world children made to learn how to write code and script nah the games aren't that bad, are they? I just don't understand why you would put your system through such abuse anyway, I hope that we can get through the ramen noodle phase and get to the [add your favorite food here]! You know, yea you know share some of your ps4's trauma with me.
Yeah, I think there's a ton of great stuff to play. I think you're exaggerating a teensy bit. Has there been a watershed The Last of Us moment on any of the new consoles yet? No. But then, how long did it take for TLoU to hit the PS3?
I'm having a ton of fun with a variety of different games on my PS4, and am just enjoying the overall enhanced experience that the new hardware brings. There's good stuff still to come this Christmas, too: Far Cry 4, Call of Duty, Project CARS, etc, etc. Something for all tastes!
Well i feel ya man, i just want that next gen experience that is supposed to "blow me away" with face melting graphics. Most stuff does infact look like later ps3 games.No one will understand my gripe along with yours, but i'm enjoying the indie craze atleast, which psbloggers complain about daily.

It did have Assassin's Creed IV, inFamous: Second Son, Watch Dogs, MLB The Show and inFamous: First Light and later this year, as Sammy pointed out, there's some good stuff, but yeah I'd agree nothing mind blowing yet. As long as the Nov. games turn out well though, that'll be enough for a first year. I'm no so much concerned about originality or innovative as I am just getting super high quality games at this point. Far Cry 4, LBP 3, even the new Call of Duty, all have potential to close the year strong.
I honestly dont know what people were expecting. This is the first year of the PS4's release and Sony is know to keep their systems around for a long time. Why do people want all of their eggs in one basket so to speak?

Not to mention all the enhanced remakes from last gen like TLoU, Tomb Raider, and the ones coming out like GTA V and Sleeping Dogs
and there is alot more that I know I am forgetting. Honestly if you guys cant find anything to play well then maybe you are just tired of video games.

I think the problem is just getting games made that take full advantage of the hardware. I want to experience games that literally were not possible last gen and the PS4 just needs time to get to the point where it has those games. This is mostly the reason I play with my Wii U now more than the PS4. It can offer me experiences that I haven't encountered. The future of the PS4 is positively bursting with potential, but it'll all be for waste if developers just keep on making bigger or more detailed versions of yesterday's games.

Completely agree with you on that. Aside from the two inFamous games, and if you like baseball, MLB The Show, the exclusives have been entirely mediocre. I play mutliplats on the PS4 (don't have PC) but for people who don't yeah, this is an issue and the fanboys need to stop acting like it isn't an issue. Sony has the studios that things will no doubt get better, but it's unacceptable right now that most of the good 'exclusives' are timed exclusive indie games. If you're like me and don't give a crap about 99% of indie games, then that does nothing. It's still early, but 2015 had better be a much, much better year.
