@ioniamichael If you don't mind a subscription fee like world of warcraft I would highly recommend Final Fantasy 14. It is at the moment the most popular mmorpg out there. It has a free trial period which you can always start and see if it is something for you or not. It has a great story, especially the latest expansions, great diverse classes and a lot of different stuff to do. It doesn't force you to login daily to do stuff like wow does, so that's a huge plus.
If you want something without a subscription fee I would suggest Elder Scrolls Online. It's basically Skyrim the mmorpg if you like Bethesda games.
Neverwinter is heavily pay 2 win so wouldn't suggest that all. Black Desert is okish, just a bit on the grindy side.
@ioniamichael I’d also recommend Final Fantasy XIV. Best MMORPG on the market, possibly ever. There’s a massive free trial too so use that until you get to the end and then you’ll know if you want to subscribe.
@ioniamichael If you're a fan of the franchise, Star Trek Online is also pretty decent. It's showing its age, but the servers are always busy, and it has an embarrassing amount of content which is all completely free; you don't even need PS Plus to access it.
"We want different things, Crosshair. That doesn't mean that we have to be enemies."
@ioniamichael if you like solo mmos. ESO has so much content to do. The only reason I dont play it is I don't like level scaling enemies. If that doesn't bother you the game is quite fun and huge. It is also more of a western rpg vs FF14. I do hear great things about ff14 though.
