The title is self explanatory. I want to know how to connect my ps4 to my smart tv monitor with sound and video without a hdmi cord. Basically how to connect it wirelessly? I hate wires!!!
Ok so I guess you COULD connect it to a screen with wires very close to the PS4, but hidden away, and then have that screen mirrored wirelessly on to the screen you actually want to play off. But you’re gunna have some pretty severe drops in image quality etc!
@johnny901 You can get wireless hdmi set ups, current ones are pretty good with lag similar to what you'd get to a modern TV, but they are expensive.
They also need to be powered, so you're adding more cables and extra power consumption. If you game for any significant duration, they'd probably overheat like Chromecasts do.
Probably better off just finding a cable tidy solution.
