Topic: GameSTop USA pre-orders now up

Got me my drive club bundle which includes the game and an extra controller at only $520.......so looks like price for the controller is the same? Description was awkward since its so early but its weird because it says it includes system, game and a ps4 dual shock controller.......does a controller not come with the PS4????? am i missing something here?

well i had $700 from selling my iphone and ipad to them with the insane 45% trade in bonus so I paid eveything off with my rewards card lol.

Yeah, if I had that going for me I would jump at that deal too lol.  The only thing I have to offer in a trade in is an older model of the Xbox 360.

I'm going tomorrow to pay off my copy of The Last of Us and pre-order the PS4. Finally the next-gen is almost upon us.

Got to the store as early as possible and along with the pre-order for the PS4 itself, I put down some money on Killzone, Watch_Dogs and inFamous. Now the long wait begins.

I am wondering what is the minimum you have to put down to preorder the PS4?   A co worker of mine said that he had to put down $200 for the preorder.  I am going to trade in my old Xbox 360 and possibly my Wii (after I transfer stuff to my Wii U) and after that I will probably just trade in games when I finish them to pay off the PS4.  Just curious if my co worker is right about that.

It was $100 for me, not sure if that's what it is for everybody or a promotion for pro rewards members.

Hmmm ok I am not a reward member cause quite honestly I dont like dealing with them but they are the only one I know of that will do traded ins for store credit towards a PS4 in my town that wont require internet.   I also have a few games to trade in so I am thinking that with the Xbox 360, Wii and a few games I should be good to meet that minimal.

I'm pretty sure it's $100 for anybody wouldn't hurt to ask though.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, if you're going to pre-order at Gamestop, probably want to do so fairly quickly because they are limited to the number they can take. I'm not sure what it is at other locations but the one I shop at had a limit of 28. Fortunately I got there early enough to get one of the higher spots.

Well I went ahead and preorder the Assassin's Creed IV bundle from Gamestop with some trade ins today.  I am so excited.  November can't some soon enough.

Any other extras in the AC bundle?

I dont think so I think it just comes with the game and thats it.

The guy did it in store for me.  I went in with an Xbox 360 that I had and no longer used since I have the Star Wars slim model the transfer cable, and some games told him that I wanted to trade the stuff in for a PS4 preorder.  He took my stuff gave me credit and asked which bundle I wanted.  I asked him which ones do they have and the told me some of them and the best one I liked was the AC one.  Now whether he screwed up or not I am not sure but I have the preorder set so if I go there to pick it up and theres a problem well, let's just say Gamestop will not be happy with me.

That makes sense.  Honestly I dont do a whole lot of business with Gamestop.  I wont get started here as to why but you can probably guess it.  However I was thinking I might as well trade in that Xbox 360 I dont use anymore and bring down the overall cost for me for a PS4.    Gamestop is the only place in my town that does something like that.  I have a few other places in town that I could trade stuff in but neither of them sell current gen systems unless they are used.

As for the bundle that got me off guard lol.  I just went in and asked for the PS4 and the guy behind the counter started naming off all the bundles.

its not really a bundle.....its the same price as picking up the console and a game with it.....exact same price. They just called them bundles to make it easier on people to make a decision.

I have the driveclub bundle which includes an extra DS controller, Driveclub and the system.......if I ordered all 3 seperate it would be the exact same price.

Yeah, I looked into these bundles after seeing them mentioned in here because if Sony was doing something official I was considering flipping my pre-order to one of those but this just looks like an easy way for GameStop to try to up sell without playing a million questions, not a bad idea actually, makes it less annoying for everybody.
