So on Prince of Persia. I’d say important. True the parkour was one button but it was still good. The combat was okay. The narrative is fantastic though. The performance for the characters was fantastic along with the writing. I always lingered to get more banter from the characters. Some of the best duo banter I’ve ever seen and there is a huge amount of it. The graphics had a fantastic cel-shaded art style that still holds up. I still need to finish the game, but I’d love a sequel to this PoP reboot.

Ah, Portal 2. One of my favourite games ever. I'll expand on that when I've got time.

Yeah I think everyone's in agreement about Portal 2 so I'll save my thoughts for the run-in!

I wasn't grabbed by Prince of Persia PS3 and stopped playing it very early on. However, it's likely I didn't give it a fair chance, so I'd be willing to go with @Jaz007 on this one.

The PoP trilogy definitely belongs in 'Important'. Great games and very influential.

Prince of Persia 2008 is a rather special game to me. I played it when my auntie was very ill in hospital, and something about the gorgeous colour and very fluid platforming (didn't matter to me that it was quite automated) helped me. I found it quite a soothing experience and liked bringing colour and life to the dead environments.

Resistance: Fall of Man Insomniac Games
I would say IMPORTANT for Resistance. Superb launch game and an interesting new IP.

Resistance 2 Insomniac Games
IMPORTANT for Resistance 2 too. I wasn't as keen on this entry, but it did feature multiplayer (60 players) that is pretty much an analogous forerunner of current Battle Royale game types.

Resistance 3 Insomniac Games
VERY IMPORTANT for R3 - sublime single player fps experience and the series pinnacle.

I decided to have all the Rock Band track packs in EXISTING because people's music tastes will be so different to many people that it's hard to put into other categorises, ultimately it just adds onto an existing game that isn't essential to have.

The only game I've personally played out of those is Resident Evil Revelations and even then only on the 3DS, so I don't know how it performs on the PS3. The game itself is very good and really felt like a return to slower, scarier Resident Evil compared to the all-out action of RE6. IMPORTANT feels about right.

I have watched Resistance 1 & 2 be played and feel that they were certainly an important new franchise on the PS3.
