While i was browsing the DLC for Injustice for my Playstation 3 to see if i was able to buy the Superman Man of Steel outfit or not, the PSN store news alert thingy said I had to go into the PSN store for the Playstation 4 in order to buy DLC or anything for a Playstation 3 game yada yada.
So, how in the hell does it work now since things have changed where you cant even buy anything from the PSN store for the Playstation 3 itself?
I searched for Injustice 1 on the PSN store for my Playstation 4 and was curiou to see if it would have regular DLC outits for the Playstation 3 Injustice but nothing came up.
@XandertheWise You have to go on the PS3 and access the store there. You can’t access it from the web anymore.
He did mention this as well, and you would do well to be more polite and nice to people helping/trying to help you. Lashing out at someone helping you is a good way to have no one help you.
plus adding a debit card or even a PSN gift card doesnt help or do anything useful whether youre trying to dig through old defunct Playstation 3 PSN Store on the console itself.
New current PSN store for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 you can only buy stuff for PS4 and PS5 games.
Current Injustice videogame on the PSN store is only purchasable for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.
Pretty much screwed, SOL anyway. I missed the chance to get a few remaining DLC outfits for my Playstation 3 Injustice videogame which sucks but theyre not that important to enjoy the game anyway.
at least the Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate version game for Playstation 4/5 it already comes with the DLC outfits for free anyway
@XandertheWise You have to add funds to the account you use on your PS3 via the website or a PS4 or PS5, then you go on the store on the PS3 and you can use the money you added to download PS3 games.
@Bentleyma Ive already tried that. I did get a PSN card last week to pay for the 9.99 Essential plan for Playstation Plus for my Playstation 4. I still have 11.99 left on the card and I have tried using the same PSN card to try to get one of the DLC outfits for Injustice for my Playstation 3 but every time i try to enter the PSN card number, a pop up message keeps saying this " The code may not be correct or no longer valid."
that is complete bull since there is still 11.99 left on the card and i had to use some of it for my Playstation 4 mostly.
Plus I dont think you can even buy anything anymore from the old Playstation 3 PSN store anyway. I keep telling people this but they wont listen to me
@XandertheWise You can definitely still buy things from the PS3 store. You only have to enter the card once and then it adds that amount to your PlayStation wallet. If you’ve spent some already then to use the remainder all you have to do is add the game or DLC to your cart on the PS3 and go to pay for it. I dunno if this helps at all because, it’s kind of hard to understand the exact problem you’re having.
1) Add funds to your wallet on the PS4 Store app
2) Buy things from the PS3 store.
It does still work (bought some add-ons for Sonic All Stars racing the other week) but you can't add funds directly on the PS3 or Vita.
Those devices still reference the same account and the same wallet (provided you're logged in with the same PSN login of course!)
The PSN cards are a one-shot item (i.e. if it's for £20, then £20 gets added to your PSN wallet, no partial credits for part of a card.)
