Topic: new ps3 and your saved data

i find when i've signed in on new ps3 any games that have trophies will remember your progress from where you bring data to utility from online saves but for the non trophy older games if i bring data from online to utility and install game it's like it doesn't recognise it and your at default level, anyone else noticed that?

i used to have a ps3 40g but now the sliding top ps3. all my game data is on online storage and when i signed in on new ps3 i brought down the data from online to game utility part for all the games i wanted to play. it just seems only the ps3 games that have trophies remember your progress like call of duty world at war remembers my multiplayer level but i did have to re-get the map packs again from the store. but for like rainbow 6 vegas 2 which is an older no trophy game it has you back at default like you've lost all progress.
