Topic: Hoard

So has anyone tried this yet, the reviews seem to be great. I would like to hear from more players myself. All hoard discussions are welcome.

The reviews I've seen have been positive as well.  I'll be getting this as soon as it drops in price.

im considering this game I just really dont understand what it is though.

I am thinking about getting this. I don't know much about it but it does look pretty interesting. I may give it a download considering that it is half-off this week.

OK, I bought it.  The first thing you'll get is a patched update.  I think I remember reading about the patch responding to players' complaints that the text was too small.  Well, there might be an option to now make the text bigger, but to be honest I'd have to sit closer to the TV to be able to read the options menu as it stands now! LOL  If it's already bigger, then I can't imagine how it could have been released with text even smaller.

But to answer the question of what it's about, I was still able to play 2 matches without reading the tutorial.  You are a dragon and fly around burning things to collect the treasure, which you bring back to your "nest."  There is 1 or more dragons, so it's a race to build your hoard the fastest.  There are upgrades that can be purchased which, for example, increase your flying speed, or your breath attack so the items turn into gold quicker, or your defenses so you don't have to fly back to your nest to recover, or your payload so you can carry more at once.

The first match against 1 AI I lost as I figured all this out, but I won in my replay and there are more options to explore, so it seems pretty good.  I just need to get a bigger TV or move closer first!

Awesome, I'm enjoying hoard as well. As soon as i get better, we should play some games, Oh yea, Are you getting the hang of it wolfy?Not too many people have picked this up i know.
