Topic: brunswick bowling help and questions

I cannot get the motion controller to do anything as far as the actual bowling when i get to the bowling site thei need to use the ps3 wireless controller to do anything.  What am I doing wrong I have paired it to the ps3 and caliberated it on the Brunswick bowling but the controller does nothing   Please Help

The ball on the end of the motion controller turns from blinking white to an orange color

Make sure only your move controller is on when you put the game in, then it will be set up to use the move controller.  I had this same problem.

Just turn off your PS3, then only use the move controller.

Does the oil coating on the alley go from the color Yellow thin coat to a thicker coat as you move toward the edge of the alley

I have the same problem as "paulmo" (first post).
Even with only the MOVE controller on I am not able to select anything.
None of the the buttons work exept the x button.
I am a left handed female, I would like to play as one.
DualShock works just fine but is to hard on my 59 year old hand.

@Bonsai418  It might be worth returning your copy and getting a new one.  It is possible you have a defective game.

I don't think Amazon will take the game back, because it works just fine with the DualShock.
My Move controller works fine with other games just not this Bowling game.
At this point it seems I wasted 50 some $ because I don't enjoy playing with the DualShock.
I had called and send an e-mail to Crave (Maker of the Game) but they did not bother to answer either. Needless to say I am very disapointed.

@Bonsai418  I would say it is worth trying to return.  I am surprised you had to pay $50 for it.  I got it for $30 at Best Buy.

yes some games need to have only ghe playstation eye connected to the usb ports for some ungodly reason. even charging cables mess it up.
that said i actually play this game now , never grasped playing it with the dualshock3 before but im down with the move.

Forget it i got this mixed up with High Velocity Bowling, sorry

Where do we find info on how to read the oil pattern? Is the orange areas the higher oil? And the number of ball rev on each ball.  What does that mean???  WHen we try a right hook, the ball rotates to the rt., when he twists the move controller to go left!
We appreciate any insight!!

Just wondering if anyone knows if the navigation controller works with Brunswick Pro Bowling?  I keep having issues moving my character with the Move Controller, a cross pad would be so much better.

  I tried starting the game with only the motion controler. I tried haveing the controler on then putting the game in still nothing.

Common Issue# 1

"The Move Controller does not function when in game ready to bowl."

In order for you to play using the Move Controller you must first assign the Move Controller to
Controller Port 1. Please follow the steps below:

Ensure that your Eye Toy and Move Controller are connected to the PS3 Console.
Launch the Game: Brunswick Pro Bowling and Proceed to the Main Menu.
Using the Move Controller Press and Hold the Playstation Button. This button can be found in the middle of the Move Controller marked with the Playstation Logo.
A menu should appear with the following options:
a. Quit Game
b. Controller Settings
c. Turn Off the System
d. Turn Off the Controller
Select the Option "Controller Settings."
From here reassign the Controller to the number "1."
After the Move Controller is assigned to Number 1, return to the Brunswick Pro Bowling Main Menu.
Select Quick Play, select 1 player, then select any options available and load into the game.
Once in game clear the screen of any message then Press the Select Button on the Move controller to Calibrate.
Follow the on screen instructions to calibrate the Move controller until the Move Ball turns a solid color.
After the move controller is a solid color begin bowling.
