Topic: Black Ops is broken (issue resolved)

Does anyone know what's going on with Black Ops? Since the new update I can't even get past the opening cinematic. Just the Tryearch Logo and a woman reading numbers into a mic and then nothing; blank black screeen. Why do they keep messing up this game? And does anyone know how to fix it?

go to game data utilty, delete the cod black ops patch. load black ops and re download the patch.

Thanks but I've tried that and still the same problem. Really confusing. I can't find a solution anywhere on the net.

only thing i can recommend is to call sony or call activision.

@lipnox. It's working again . I don't know what it was but I also deleted all my save files and unplugged my PS3 and plugged it in again. It must have been one of those that did it, I think the latter. Strange.

@mod feel free to delete this thread or lock it if you want, my problem is solved. Alternatively keep it open in case anyone else has the same problem and can copy my remedy.
