Hi can anyone help with a problem I have. My psvr headset shuts off after a few minutes and the only way to get it started again is to unplug and plug back in the psvr box and press the power button back on for the headset. Note that the psvr power box light is white and I hear the start button beep when I try to turn on the headset when it turns off (the psvr box shows it it turning in) I appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks

@sam6862 Hey there. I'm afraid I don't have any solid suggestions since it does sound like a proper fault.

I would suggest that you unplug and replug in all the cables and ensure that the PSVR box is well ventilated, as is your PS4 since it could be an overheating issue. Other than that, it could be the cables but it sounds like the issue is with the box itself. You could also make sure you have the latest downloaded OS and if worse, rebuild the PS4.

The only other thing I can ask is if it is in warranty and to contact Sony support. Sorry bud!

Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. I found out the problem a faulty wire between the extention cable box and the headset. Is it possible to cut the bad part of the wire out and splice the two ends of the wire together

@sam6862 Maybe, I assume the wire in question has smaller wires inside that. I may have done this to repair the Wi-Fi on a Wii U once. >.> If you have warranty and don't mind waiting it would be more practical to use warranty.
Edit: Another advisable option is buying the cable off eBay. I have gotten a few bad parts here and there but eBay has done me right more than it has done me wrong.
