Is it possible to spend $99.99 a day for PlayStation network or even $99.99 for multiple times a day? I see charges from my son but it doesn’t seem possible.

Thanks for your help. What could cost $99.99?

@Jimmzzz I had a random £50 payment from Fortnite which wasn’t made by me or my family and was done at 4AM. I stupidly bounced the payment back through PayPal which meant Sony held my account to ransom and to pay the owed money or they’d lock me out of playing any of my games. Literally every game in my library had a padlock next to it and I couldn’t play them and since the free to play Fortnite was already installed, it invalidated any chance of a refund so I had to suck it up and pay them the £50. All I can say is don’t chargeback the transaction as Sony really don’t like that. Instead, go through Sony’s customer services to determine if the transaction is fraudulent. Unfortunately with the current situation it might be difficult to contact them but good luck regardless.

I would guess some form of microtransaction on a game such as Fifa or Fortnite would be the most likely thing to cost that much. If you share your console with family members, make sure card details aren't saved on the PS4 under any circumstances.

Protip especially with kids never, NEVER, have your credit card attached to your account/consoles. ONLY use prepaid cards to reduce risk of an unwanted hit on your bank account. I only use the prepaid cards and if my kids want something I make them buy it immediately with me being right there. Don't leave credit in your account either. Kids make mistakes but try to minimize the impact as much as possible.
