Ok, so my friend can't add users on his PS4. No worries we clicked reset passcode, entered PSN password, 2 factor verified yadayada. Logged in to his account USING new passcode. Boom, 4 * appear one after the other. Still can't add user's, "due to parental settings". K, so we go into Settings > Parental Controls/Family management click on PS4 System Restrictions > Enter passcode. Funny thing is only 3 * appear even although we pressed square 4 times in a row. However if we sign user out PS4 then login code works and 4 square presses 4 * later we're into his account but still can't change any parental controls as passcode box isn't recognising fourth press even though it's same code to get into PS4 XMB. If you're still with me I thank you, now, does anyone know how to fix this - OTHER than hard reset or re-initialisation.
